Elsebeth Lavold Angora Yarn

is a wonderful blend of 60% Angora, 20% Wool and 20% polyamide. This blend allows the yarn to bloom with a soft angora halo, without the fuzzies that are common with 100% angora yarns. Each 50 gram skein has 83 m (91 yards) of pure softness. This yarn knits to a gauge of 17 sts per 4 inch (10 cm) on US recommended knitting needles #7 - 8. Elsebeth Lavold Chunky Al is an unplied, loosely spun 50% alpaca, 50% wool blend yarn with a somewhat fuzzy character that can still produce very distinct patterns. The fact that it can be knitted at a loose gauge allows for e.g. big jackets, without the garment resting heavily on your shoulders. Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy is a lovely yarn, made up of 40% Hemp, 40% Cotton and 20% Modal. The hemp content provides for a great drape and a linen-like feel, the cotton adds softness, and the modal provides elasticity.
