What's Hot this Summer

Well it certainly isn't the weather here in New England. Cool and wet has been the forecast just about ever day so far this summer, but the knitting has been far from cold....

So we are still waiting for T-Shirt weather to show off our new Knitting with Friends® shirts, now available in sizes Small through 2XL and in three designs, including the new "Knit Two Together" design as shown on the left!

We have received more of that fantastic Pure Silk 20-2 from Ivy Brambles and their new line of Ivy Brambles Shetland 2-ply (fingering weight and 380 yards per 100g skein) which is hand dyed [show left in Autumn Flame], and available in semi-solid colorways and just too yummy for words, perfect for colorwork, Shetland and Fairisle sweaters etc.

At a great price ($18.95 for 100g) you get hand dyed extra soft Shetland 2-ply in semi-solid colors, which coordinate together in that uncanny way that is Ivy Brambles, and adding that one of a kind touch to your hand knit garments.

We have been promised that patterns for this new yarn will be available later this year. We can't wait!

We have also just received the new "Cashmere Scarf for Her" kits from Jade Sapphire, these kits retail at under $100 and are now available for immediate shipment for that extra special gift!

You knit one for him, now it's your turn! Reward yourself or your HER with an exquisite 100% mongolian cashmere scarf! The kit includes a booklet with 7 pattern options for your favorite HER and 4 skeins (350 yards) of Jade Sapphire Cashmere yarn.

Kits knit at 4.25 to 5.5 sts per inch.

We are also excited about the new pattern from Andi Smith (knitbrit.com), the Pendenza Scarf and Hat Pattern. This uses two skeins of Ivy Brambles Superwash Worsted (Petunias) and features a diagonal cable that is simply stunning!

Visit Andi's website to buy the pattern and get the yarn from us with free shipping, it doesn't get any better than this!
