BIG yarn - Easy care 100% Superwash Superfine Merino is supersoft and works to a gauge of 7-11 sts per 4 inches on a US 11-17.   But don't stop there!   Unleash your creative spirit and put this yarn on our KWF Big Needles US 35 and 50 mm and make some really BIG stitches... No worries, this yarn can take the big stitches :)

BIG skeins - Oversized 200 gram skeins rock your needles with 142 yards (131 m) in generous 7 ounces skeins.

Superwash Merino and Cashmere Enrapture DK and Enrapture Light Now in Stock!!! Simply Luscious!!!

Just arrived, Ivy Brambles Enrapture DK weight and Enrapture Light fingering weight yarns! 

Ivy Brambles Enrapture is a luscious dk weight yarn that is a blend of Superwash, Superfine Merino Wool and Cashmere to make an amazingly supersoft yarn that is an absolute delight to work with and wear.  This yarn is a blend of incredibly soft Merino wool with Cashmere allows these hand-dyed yarns all the subtle variations in color and texture only hand dyed yarns can achieve.   We are stocked with a variety of tonals and variegated in the lovely Ivy Brambles colors.   Each 50 gram skein has 165 yards (150 meters) and knits to 22.0 sts = 4 inches on a US 5 - 6. Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project as hand-dyes can vary between different dye lots.

And it doesn't stop there - Enrapture Light is the same blend of fibers as Enrapture except in fingering weight!   Perfect for shawls, scarves and socks!    Enrapture Light Yarn is a beautiful hand-dyed Superwash Merino and Cashmere with a touch of Nylon added that works up beautifully as socks, shawls, and other garments and accessories requiring a fingering weight yarn. Each skein comes in 220 yard, 50 gram skeins. Each skein is hand-dyed and the colors are simply gorgeous!

New Colors have Arrived in Mulberry Silk Lap and New Class Offered for Working with Silk Laps and Hankies

New Colors have arrived in Mulberry Silk Lap and they are Absolutely Beautiful!!!

Bewitching Fibers Hand-Painted Mulberry Silk Lap available in 1 ounce incremental cuts. This beautiful hand-painted mulberry silk lap is highly textured and comes in the form of a flat sheet. This flat sheet has fine layers which are easily separated. Silk laps are great for spinning, blending with other fibers and knitting as well as embroidery, scrapbooking and other mixed medias including felt makers and paper makers to add luster and texture.  Purchase the number of ounces you will need and we will cut the fiber to your total weight purchase. Each ounce cut will measure between 12 - 18 inches across by the ounce measurement cut.

Did you know that you can knit or spin directly from the Mulberry Silk Lap and Matawba Mulberry Silk Hankies?   Visit our class schedule and sign up now for a class to learn these fascinating techniques!   Each class is offered as a one-day, 2-hour class and the spinning technique class will follow the knitting technique.
