We are extremely excited by the addition of Serendipitous Ewe Hand Dyed Sock yarn to our growing selection of hand dye artists. We are now offering two different yarns, a pure merino (Fate Fingering), and a merino bamboo mix (Lucky Sock) which has a generous 460 yards of delicious hand dyed sock yarn. We are carrying three color lines, baby shades (Little Ewe), semi-solid, and self striping colorways.We also have all the new Madeline Tosh Sock Yarn colorways, as always every year the new colors expand on an already spectacular range of exciting colors, plus she has added some more subtle colors expanding the versatility of an already fantastic range.
New also is Blue Heron's new Rayon Metalic. Rayon Metallic Yarn is 100% rayon hand dyed yarn with a fine metallic thread twisted into the yarn. This yarn is perfect for knitters, crocheters and weavers and is available in 550 yard DK weight 8 oz hanks.
Finally, we now have all the ArtFelt (Schoppel Wolle) colors, in both pencil and standard rovings, we have done a little reorganization at the shop to give this (and our spinning supplies) their own place of pride in the shop. We are planning to have both needle and wet felting classes this year with local artists from the US and Canada.
